“Rainbow Erasure” by Thea Frandson“Rainbow Erasure” by Thea Frandson was made to represent the growing erasure of LGBTQ+ people, especially regarding to laws made prohibiting rights. The difference in race, hand position, hand size, and drawing utensil, are included to represent diversity in people. In the left side of the drawing, the eraser making marks at the rainbow is representing the ongoing attempts at erasing the LGBTQ+ community, the headlines in the background represent the same thing. All in all, “Rainbow Erasure” was created to bring awareness to the attempts of erasing the Queer community. Stand up against injustice today! : Works
